Start a task with Marcus
Write a request, start from a quick action, mention an agent or a channel, and phrase a request Marcus handles on the first try.
Everything starts with a message to Marcus. He reads your request, looks through your catalog and acts with his tools.
Write a request
- Click New task in the sidebar.
- Type your request in the message field. On the home screen, it scrolls through sample requests.
- Press Enter to send. Shift+Enter adds a line break.
You can also write to Marcus from the conversation panel, open next to every page.
Start from a quick action
Below the field, Quick actions suggests common tasks, three at a time: Import a supplier file, Connect my store, Create my product pages, Translate my product pages, and others. Show more scrolls to the next ones. Each action opens a new conversation already pointed in the right direction.
Good morning, Claire
What can I do for you today?
Quick actions
Show moreMentions and shortcuts
- Type @ to choose an agent. @Clara hands the request to Clara, for an analysis. See who does what.
- Type # to choose a channel: its name is highlighted in the message.
- The Add (+) button lets you Attach file, start from a skill with Skills, or open a connector with Connectors.
Phrase a good request
- Name the target channel: “generate the product pages for my PrestaShop store”.
- Specify the scope: “the 40 products imported this morning”, “the products without an EAN”.
- Say what you expect at the end: a file, a filtered view, product pages to review.
For a request with several steps, Marcus shows a plan. See follow progress.
Good to know
- A message is at most 10,000 characters. For a long list of products, attach an Excel or CSV file instead.
- The “Credits: X left” gauge, in the message area, shows your balance. Add credits takes you straight there.
- “You’re going a little fast”: wait a few seconds before sending again.
- “Marcus could not finish”: the request was too broad. Rephrase it or split it into several messages.
- “The reply was interrupted” or “The reply took too long”: send your message again to pick up where it stopped.
