Import your whole catalog
Products, variants and options, metafields, vendors, types, tags, images, and your collections too: Upsellr reads your store and recognizes your products by SKU and barcode.

Audit your collections and metafields
Your collections become categories and your metafield definitions become features: Upsellr reviews them, spots what is missing or contradictory, and helps you complete them.

Build your taxonomy
Link each feature to the categories where it matters: drum speed in rpm becomes required for tumble dryers, and Lily looks it up for each of them.

Complete the master data, write the pages
Lily completes each product’s master data, its single source of data: missing features, images and documents. Max turns it into your store’s titles, descriptions, metafields and SEO tags, and files each product in the right collection.

Approved pages go back to Shopify, translated into each of your published languages, image alt texts included. A new product arrives as a draft: you choose when it goes on sale.

Open Connectors in Upsellr
Pick Shopify: the form shows the settings to declare, each with a button to copy it.

Create the app in Shopify
In Shopify’s Dev Dashboard, create the Upsellr app with these settings, without embedding it in the admin.

Paste the key and the address
Enter the app’s client ID and secret, then your store’s .myshopify.com address.

Authorize Upsellr
Shopify asks you to approve the access, then brings you back to Upsellr.

Is the Shopify integration paid?
No. It is included in every plan. How many stores you can connect depends on the plan: 1 on Free and Core, 3 on Scale, unlimited on Enterprise.
Which Shopify plans are supported?
Every plan. Shopify sets the exchange speed by plan: on Shopify Plus, publishing large catalogs goes faster.
Does Upsellr translate my pages into my store’s languages?
Yes. For each language published in Shopify, Upsellr writes the translation of the title, description, type, SEO tags, text metafields, options and image alt texts.
Does Upsellr file my products in the right collections?
Yes. Your collections are imported as categories: at generation, each product is filed in the right one, and it is added to it when published. Upsellr can also create manual collections; it never touches smart collections.
Could my existing pages be overwritten?
No. Nothing is published without your approval, only the fields sent are changed, a created product arrives as a draft and nothing is ever deleted from your store.
Does Upsellr change my prices and stock?
No. Price and stock are neither read nor changed for now: they are coming to Upsellr soon.
Do I need to install an app?
For now, you create your own Upsellr app in Shopify’s Dev Dashboard: the connection form gives you each setting to copy. Nothing is installed in your theme.
How often does it sync?
In real time: every product creation or change is reported to Upsellr. A check sync runs every day, and a full re-read of the catalog every week.
