Marketplaces

One listing per marketplace,
by its rules.

Amazon, ManoMano, Cdiscount: each marketplace imposes its categories, required attributes, value lists and lengths. Upsellr writes a listing for each one from the same master data, then exports it as a file, with columns in its template’s order.

01The starting point

A listing refused
over a single field.

Each marketplace has its template: its categories, required fields, value lists and lengths. A listing copied from one channel to another misses the mark, and a single missing field is enough to get it refused.

  • One template per marketplaceEach has its own categories, fields and value lists.
  • Refused listingsAn empty required field, a value outside the list, a title that’s too long.
  • The same listing everywhereCopied from one marketplace to another, it fits none of them.

02How it works

You ask. The agents take care of it.

  1. 01One channel per marketplaceWith its categories, attributes and required fields.
  2. 02A listing for eachFiled in its category, values taken from its lists, within its lengths.
  3. 03Completeness checkedAn empty required field shows up before sending.

04What makes the difference

Each marketplace’s template, respected.

  • A different listing for each one.

The same drill doesn’t get the same title or the same category on Amazon and on ManoMano: each listing is written for its marketplace.

  • Values from its lists.

Color, voltage, weight: each value is written the way the marketplace expects, taken from its lists and in its units.

  • Exported, ready to send.

Each marketplace exports to Excel or CSV, with columns in its template’s order. Direct connections are coming soon.

05Results to document

What you’ll be able to measure.

  • Share of listings accepted first time
  • Number of marketplaces fed
  • Time to open a new marketplace

Your questions.
Practical answers.

What you need to know before your first request.

Is Upsellr connected directly to marketplaces?

Not yet: connections to Amazon, ManoMano, Cdiscount, Mirakl and others are coming soon. In the meantime, each marketplace exports as an Excel or CSV file, with columns in its template’s order.

Are the listings the same from one marketplace to another?

No. They start from the same master data, but each is written for its marketplace: its category, fields, value lists and lengths.

How do I know a listing is complete before sending it?

Each channel has its completeness column in your catalog: an empty required field turns it red.

Can I add a marketplace that isn’t listed?

Yes. Any channel can be created with its categories and fields, and any channel can be exported as a file.
