Baby and childcare
Parents aren’t looking for an adjective.
They’re looking for a standard.
From what age, up to what weight, which standard, how it’s installed: in store, the assistant answers by pointing to the label. Upsellr writes product pages that give these references, with the manufacturer’s data, across your whole catalog.

01The aisle’s challenges
Here, age and standards
decide safety.
Childcare is the aisle where a wrong value isn’t a failed purchase but a risk. Six situations your customers run into every day, and what Upsellr does about them.
Car seats01
Group 0+, group 1 or i-Size?
A car seat is chosen by the child’s height or weight and the vehicle’s fixing system. The supplier file often gives a weight range, the page has to state the standard and the installation.

Car seat 0-18 kg
On your page
i-Size, from 40 to 105 cm, rear-facing up to 15 months, Isofix fixing, found on the manufacturer’s website
The whole aisle02
6M+, from 6 months or 6-12 m
Every supplier writes age its own way. Your age filters stop finding anything, and a parent can no longer tell whether the product suits their child.
Harmonized units and valuesFrom the supplier

On your page
Age range: 6-12 months, written the same way on every page of the channel
Pushchairs and carriers03
The standard is in the manual
Standard, harness, maximum child weight: these references reassure parents far more than a “completely safe”. They’re in the manufacturer’s manual, rarely in the file.

What the formula doesn’t contain
Fragrance-free, phenoxyethanol-free, palm oil-free: for a product that touches a newborn’s skin, that’s often the reason to buy. The composition is printed on the pack.

Baby wipes x72
On your page
72 wipes, free from fragrance and phenoxyethanol, composition read from the photo of the pack
Nursery and sleep05
Which cot does this mattress fit?
Every family has the data that drives the purchase: mattress dimensions for a mattress, a group and a fixing for a car seat, a size and a composition for a bodysuit.

Baby mattress with removable cover
On your page
Mattress size: 60 × 120 cm, for cots of the same size, washable cover
The sector’s marketplaces06
Amazon and the rest: their rules, not yours
Every marketplace has its own categories, mandatory attributes and value lists for age and safety. An incomplete listing doesn’t go live.

02The Childcare library
Everything a childcare product page needs,
ready to go.
Upsellr gives you a library built for baby and childcare: the aisle’s product families, from feeding to car seats, each family’s attributes with their units and value lists, age range and standards included, and the fields that make up a product page in the sector. Your Childcare channel starts with it, with nothing to model.
- 10product families
- 34product attributes
- 26ready-made value lists
- 4page fields, each with its instructions
Your channel receives the sector library: its families, their characteristics and their value lists.
The sector’s page template arrives with its sections, each with its own expert instructions.
Every generated page follows this template, with your product’s data.
03The aisle’s tone
A reference
instead of an adjective.
Calm and precise: the reader is a parent with doubts, who will be reassured by a standard, a weight or an age limit, never by an adjective.
The perfect pushchair to pamper your little treasure in complete safety! A must-have for new parents.
7 kg, folds with one hand, your child in the other arm. 5-point harness, complies with EN 1888, from birth to 22 kg. Folded, it fits in a small car’s boot.
Do
- Safety as standards, features and age or weight limits
- Target age, weight and dimensions, stated explicitly
- What happens as the child grows
- What the parent can do with one hand
Avoid
- Sentimentality and making parents feel guilty
- Superlatives and exclamation marks
- A compliance or a benefit for the child missing from the sources
04In the sector
One aisle,
four ways to sell it.
Childcare distributors and importersThousands of references from dozens of brands, in Excel, CSV or PDF catalogs.
Online baby storesNew products and baby lists to get online fast, without copying out every manual.
Childcare brandsThe same standards, ages and dimensions at every reseller and in every language.
Retail chains and store networksThe same product standards on the website, in store and at partners.
Your questions.
Straight answers.
What you need to know before you start.
Can Upsellr get a car seat group wrong?
The group and the installation method come from the manufacturer’s sources, never from a guess: the list of groups is closed and the enrichment agent keeps the source of every value. If the information is missing, the field stays empty and nothing is published without your approval.
Are manuals and certificates handled?
Yes. The master data gathers the product’s documents: assembly instructions, certificate of conformity, size guide. Each channel page receives the ones that help the parent and the ones the channel requires.
How are clothing and nappy sizes written?
In the master data, values stay as suppliers send them. At generation, each channel gets a single way of writing them, “3 months” or “Size 3”, according to its value lists, so its filters work.
I also sell on Amazon or other marketplaces: how does that work?
Each marketplace listing is written to the channel’s rules: category, mandatory fields, value lists. Connectors are on their way; in the meantime, the listing exports in the marketplace’s template.
My store already has its categories: what happens to the sector library?
It’s a starting point while your store can’t be read yet. As soon as your store or your PIM is connected, your own categories apply, and you can add your own attributes.
