Collect data

All your sources,
one master data.

Supplier files, PDF manuals, brand and retailer websites, photos: the enrichment agent reads every source, finds your products’ specifications and puts them in your fields. Every piece of data is sourced and brought together in a single record.

01The starting point

The information exists.
It’s just scattered.

The supplier file gives a reference and a label. The weight is in the PDF manual, the photos on the manufacturer’s website, the brand hidden in the label. It all exists, but nothing is in the same place.

  • Sources that don’t talk to each otherA spreadsheet here, a manual there, several websites elsewhere: you have to open everything for a single product.
  • PDFs read by handData sheets and manuals hold the right values, but nobody has time to copy them out.
  • No trace of the originOnce copied, a value loses its source: there’s no way of knowing whether it can be trusted.

02How it works

You ask. The agents take care of it.

  1. 01Provide your materialDrop a supplier file, PDF manuals or links to product pages. A list of EANs works too.
  2. 02Every source is readYour spreadsheets, your PDFs page by page, your photos, then the brand, manufacturer and main retailer websites: if the information exists, the enrichment agent finds it, making sure the source is reliable.
  3. 03Everything goes into the master dataThe data is brought together in your fields, converted to your units, and every value is sourced.
  4. 04Chain or adjustStart writing the pages straight away, or edit the collected data if needed.

Every piece of data verified,
brought together, traceable.

Brand, EAN, specifications and photos land in your fields, whatever their source.
Anything that can’t be found is flagged, so you decide what comes next.

04What makes the difference

What the enrichment agent can read for you.

  • PDFs, page by page.

Data sheets, manuals, catalogs: the agent reads tables as well as paragraphs, and every value taken is sourced.

  • The web, without copy-paste.

From the EAN or the reference, the agent finds the product on the brand, manufacturer and main retailer websites, then takes its specifications and photos.

  • Photos have things to say too.

Color, chuck type, printed markings: what can be seen in the image becomes a value, sourced like the others.

05Results to document

What you’ll be able to measure.

  • Time spent looking for product information
  • Share of fields filled in with their source
  • Number of products still incomplete

Your questions.
Practical answers.

What you need to know before your first request.

Which sources can the enrichment agent read?

Excel and CSV files, PDFs (data sheets, manuals, catalogs), brand, manufacturer and retailer web pages, and product photos.

How do I know where a value comes from?

Every collected value is sourced: you see whether it comes from your file, a manual or a website.

Are photos really used?

Yes. Color, material or printed markings can be read from the image. The value is sourced like any other: the original photo is cited.

What if my products can’t be found online?

Your own documents are enough: supplier files, PDFs and photos. Anything that can’t be found is flagged so you can complete it.

Are values converted to my units?

Yes. Inches, pounds or millimeters are converted to your fields’ units, and the original value remains available.

Your sources are there.
The enrichment agent reads them.
