Kitchen and cookware
You choose a pan by your hob,
not by its photo.
Induction or not, oven-safe up to what temperature, dishwasher or hand wash: in store, the customer turns the pan over and reads the base. Upsellr writes product pages that give them these answers, with the manufacturer’s data, across your whole catalog.

01The aisle’s challenges
What sticks, what scratches,
and what gets sent back.
Almost everything in the kitchen aisle goes on the heat and touches food: material is a matter of use, not a style argument. Six situations your customers run into every day, and what Upsellr does about them.
Pots and pans01
Induction, yes or no?
It’s the customer’s first question, and the first reason for returns. The supplier file gives the material, rarely the compatible hobs.

Ø 24, 24 cm or 240 mm
Every supplier writes diameters and capacities its own way. Your filters can no longer find the 28 cm frying pans, and two identical tins look different.

Knives and cutting03
A knife isn’t described like a casserole
Every family has the data that drives the purchase: blade material and length for a knife, capacity and hob compatibility for a casserole.

Food contact and manuals
A food storage box or an oven dish has its declaration of food contact compliance, a food processor its manual. Customers look for them, professional buyers ask for them.

Tableware05
An 18-piece dinner set, but which pieces?
The file gives a number of pieces and a rough color. The customer wants to know how many soup plates they get, and what shade the glaze is.

The sector’s marketplaces06
Amazon and the rest: their rules, not yours
Every marketplace has its own categories, mandatory attributes and value lists. An incomplete listing doesn’t go live.

02The Kitchen library
Everything a kitchen product page needs,
ready to go.
Upsellr gives you a library built for kitchen and cookware: the aisle’s product families, each family’s attributes with their units and value lists, and the fields that make up a product page in the sector. Your Kitchen channel starts with it, with nothing to model.
- 10product families
- 28usage attributes
- 15ready-made value lists
- 4page fields, each with its instructions
Your channel receives the sector library: its families, their characteristics and their value lists.
The sector’s page template arrives with its sections, each with its own expert instructions.
Every generated page follows this template, with your product’s data.
03The aisle’s tone
The voice of a sales assistant
who cooks.
Concrete and technical: the reader wants to know how the item behaves on the heat, and what is likely to damage it.
This stunning professional-quality casserole will transform your cooking! Your dishes have never tasted so good.
24 cm enameled cast iron: the heat rises slowly and stays, for a stew that doesn’t stick. 4.2 L, all hobs including induction, oven up to 250 °C. Hand wash: the dishwasher dulls the enamel.
Do
- The material linked to its effect on cooking
- Dimensions, capacity and compatible hobs stated explicitly
- What damages the item, said plainly
- Manufacturer data presented as such
Avoid
- Superlatives and “chef quality”
- Promises of culinary results
- Any compatibility missing from the sources
04In the sector
One aisle,
four ways to sell it.
Kitchenware wholesalersThousands of references from dozens of manufacturers, in Excel, CSV or PDF catalogs.
Cookshops and specialist websitesNew collections to get online fast, without copying out every manual.
Cookware and small appliance manufacturersThe same technical page at every reseller and in every language.
Homeware retail chainsThe same product standards on the website, in store and on marketplaces.
Your questions.
Straight answers.
What you need to know before you start.
Can Upsellr tell whether cookware is induction-compatible?
Yes, when the manufacturer says so. The enrichment agent looks for the compatible hobs on the manufacturer’s website, in the manual and in photos of the base, and every value keeps its source. If the information is missing, it isn’t made up.
Is dishwasher safety handled separately?
Yes. It’s an attribute common to the whole aisle, from frying pan to tea towel, and the page’s instructions ask to distinguish what is dishwasher-safe from what isn’t.
I also sell on Amazon or other marketplaces: how does that work?
Each marketplace listing is written to the channel’s rules: category, mandatory attributes, value lists. Connectors are on their way; in the meantime, the listing exports in the marketplace’s template.
What happens when a dimension is missing?
Nothing is made up: the enrichment agent looks for the value on the manufacturer’s side, in the manuals and in the photos, and the page only quotes values that are in the product’s data.
My store already has its categories: what happens to the sector library?
It’s a starting point while your store can’t be read yet. As soon as your store or your PIM is connected, your own categories apply, and you can add your own attributes.
