Follow activity and running tasks
See the processing in progress, cancel a task, find out what happened and deal with failed products.
Imports, enrichments and generations run in the background. The Activity menu and the activity page tell you where they stand.
The Activity menu
Click Activity, at the bottom of the sidebar:
- “N tasks running” shows the active processing runs and their progress in products.
- Cancel stops a task, Cancel all stops them all.
- “N products are waiting for you” flags products on which Marcus needs your decision.
- See all activity opens the full page.
The activity page
It gathers your account’s history, day by day.
- The All and To handle filters, then Tasks, Workflows and Reports, narrow the list.
- Each entry shows the number of products, the failures, the products not processed and the duration.
- Open in conversation takes you back to where the task was launched.
- View the products shows the products concerned in the grid.
- Download retrieves the file produced by an export.
- Mark as handled indicates that you have dealt with an entry.
Failed products
An entry may show “N products failed: reply to Marcus to decide.” Open the conversation and reply to him. To relaunch these products, ask him: “Relaunch the failed products”.
Good to know
- Only an owner or an admin can stop a task launched by someone else.
- A workflow cannot be cancelled from the Activity menu: stop it from its card in the conversation with Stop, or ask Marcus to.
- At the end of a processing run, a notification announces it with Review or See the report. “I need you on this” means Marcus is waiting for a decision.
