Marcus's memory and rules

What Marcus remembers about you, how to correct it, and how to set him personal or team behavior rules.

Marcus learns from your exchanges and follows the rules you give him. Both are managed in Settings, then Agent.

Memory

The Memory page shows what Marcus has remembered about you: your activity, the way you work, your resources. It builds itself and serves as context in every conversation.

  • Edit via Marcus opens a conversation to ask him to adjust what he has remembered.
  • Pending memory changes lists the updates Marcus proposes. Click Approve or Reject: nothing applies without your agreement.
  • Your shop shows what Clara understood about your website. Correct lets you put it right, and your version, marked “Corrected by you”, is kept during the next analyses. Empty the block to let Clara rewrite it at the next analysis.

Rules

Rules tell Marcus how to behave with you: tone, confirmation requests, credit management.

  1. Open Rules and click Add a rule.
  2. Describe the rule, for example “Always ask me for confirmation before publishing to a channel”.
  3. Choose its section: Marcus’s behavior, Confirmations and guardrails, Credit management or General preferences.
  4. Choose under Share with the team: Personal or Team.
  5. Click Add rule.

Each rule has a Toggle rule switch, and a menu with Edit, Edit via Marcus and Delete.

Good to know

  • A rule is at most 500 characters.
  • You are entitled to 20 active personal rules and 20 active team rules, counted separately.
  • The Personal or Team choice is made at creation and cannot be changed afterward.
  • A team rule applies to all members, and anyone can edit it.
  • Deleting a rule is irreversible.
  • Rules are not used for writing product pages: the tone and writing instructions are set in each channel and its template.
