Edit the product page template

The template describes a channel’s product page: its sections, their order and the way each field is filled. Max follows it at every generation.

The structure

Open the channel, then Template.

• Standard product sheet is the channel’s default template.
• Category variants: a category can add or remove sections. Customize for this category gives it its own settings, Follow the template again cancels them.
• Create a template creates a named template, to assign to categories.

Add a field

Click Add field to open the Field library, with four tabs: Standard, By sector, Custom and Master data. Drag a field into the template or click +.

In Custom, describe the field you want, paste an example or enter a fixed text: Marcus first looks for a similar block in the library, then creates the field.

Each field’s source

• Generated by AI: written at each generation, according to the field’s settings.
• Master data: copied as is from the product’s master data. No credits, and empty if the product does not have this value.
• Fixed text: written as is on every page, never generated.

Set up a generated field

• AI instructions: what the field should say.
• Examples: expected outputs, which Max draws on.
• Constraints: length and output rules.
• Format: Plain text, HTML, Markdown, JSON or Split array.
• The field’s Requirement.
• Preview: a live rendering on one of your products.
