Create PDF catalogs and product sheets
Lay out a catalog, product sheets or a price list from a channel's product pages, with the Scale plan.
PDF models lay out a channel’s generated product pages for printing or sending: catalog, product sheets or price list. PDF export is available from the Scale plan.
Open the models
- In Products, click Export.
- Choose the channel, then File and the .pdf format.
- At the Model step, Upsellr asks “Which PDF model?”.
Choose a model
The Starter models:
- Catalogue: the products sorted by category;
- Product sheet: one product per page;
- Price list: one table per category;
- Create a model: a blank page.
Your own models appear under Channel models. Click Use as is to export directly, or Customize to open the editor.
The editor
- Elements tab: drag elements onto a page, for example a field, photos, characteristics, a logo, a text or a page number. The header and footer repeat on every page.
- Pages tab: cover, contents, free page, divider page, Products page or comparison table.
- Style tab: format, orientation, margins, fonts and colors.
- PDF preview shows the rendering with the channel’s products. Download sample retrieves this test file.
Deliver the PDF
At the “How should the PDF be delivered?” step, choose the Split:
- One document: all the products in one PDF;
- One PDF per product: one file per product, gathered in a zip.
Set the File name, then click Generate the PDF.
Good to know
- A model belongs to the channel. Deleting it removes it for the whole channel. Files already generated remain available.
- Product fields can only be placed on a Products page.
- If the channel has no generated products, the product pages stay empty: generate your product pages first.
- With the Free and Core plans, the .pdf format appears grayed out. See our plans.
