Understand a product's completeness
How the completeness percentage is calculated, what its colors mean and how to see what is missing.
Completeness shows you at a glance which products have enough material and which need filling in. It appears as a bar and a percentage in the grid.
The calculation
The Master Data column adds up three parts:
- 30% for identity: the share of required fields filled in. If no field is required, Upsellr looks at the name, the brand and the EAN.
- 20% for the image: at least one image, yes or no.
- 50% for technical specifications: 8 filled-in specifications are worth the whole of this part.
If your master data has no image field, the image part disappears and the calculation becomes 40% identity, 60% specifications.
The colors
- Red: a required field is missing, even if the score is high, or the score is below 25%.
- Green: 75% or more, all required fields filled in, and an image if one is expected.
- Orange: all other cases.
The percentage says how much material the product page contains; the color says whether a blocking gap remains.
See what is missing
Hover over the bar: the list separates the Required gaps, the required fields still empty, from the Recommended gaps (primary image, technical specifications, secondary image, an instruction not followed…). If everything is there, it shows “Nothing is missing.”.

Completeness per channel
Each channel has its own completeness column, which follows the same rules. A dash means the product has never been generated on this channel: it is not a score of zero.
Good to know
- To raise completeness, launch an enrichment: it fills in the master data (specifications, images, documents).
- The Analytics system view gathers all the completeness bars on a single screen.
- Required fields are set in requirements by category.
