Find an old value and restore a product
Look through a product's modification history, view an old version and restore one value or the whole product.
Every change to a product is recorded, with its origin. The history lets you see who changed what, and go back.
Open the history
On the product page, click Modification history. The history exists for the Master Data view and for each channel’s content.
Each change shows its date and its origin:
- Manual edit
- Import
- AI enrichment
- AI generation
Restore a single value
On a change, click Restore this value. The field goes back to its previous value; the rest of the product does not move.
View an old version
View this version shows the product as it was at that point, read-only. A “You’re viewing Version N” banner reminds you. Click Back to current version to leave.
Restore everything
Restore everything up to here brings the whole product back to the state of that version. You are asked to confirm: more recent changes are overwritten, but the history itself is kept.
Good to know
- The history covers a product’s values. A deleted product cannot be restored: deletion is permanent.
- To undo a change made by an import, you can also go through View the changes in the import report.
- In the grid, Cmd+Z undoes your latest actions of the session: see edit in the grid.
