Read the import report
Understand the counters at the end of an import, find the blocked rows and undo a change made by the file.
At the end of an import, Upsellr shows an Import finished card and an Import report in the discussion. They tell you what the file created, changed or left aside.

View the changesThe counters
- Created: new products added to the catalog.
- Updated: existing products changed.
- merged: rows combined into a single record, if you chose to merge the duplicates in the file.
- Out of scope: rows set aside by your filters.
- Blocked: rows Upsellr could not link to a product.
- Failed: unreadable rows.
The report also shows the number of rows read and the credits consumed.
Blocked rows
Click See blocked rows to open Rows not imported. Each row gives its reason:
- “No EAN or SKU in the row”
- “The SKU and the EAN point to two different products”
- “Several catalogue products match”
- “The parent product cannot be determined”
Correct the file or your catalog, then import again.
View and undo changes
View the changes opens What this import changed: for each product and each field, the value before and after. Undo this change puts the previous value back on the product.
The list also shows the changes not applied: fields validated by hand or generated, which an import never overwrites. To adopt the file’s value, enter it yourself.
Suggested next steps
After an import of new products, Marcus suggests what comes next:
- Enrich them by collecting data
- Generate content for my shop and/or other channels
- Enrich then generate straight away
- Nothing for now
Enrichment and generation consume credits. Marcus shows you the estimated cost before anything is launched.
Good to know
- Upsellr then looks for duplicates in your catalog. See settle detected duplicates.
- Imported products can take a few seconds to appear in the grid.
