Add products without a file
Create products by dictating them to Marcus, by asking for examples from your industry or directly in the grid.
You do not need a file to get started: you can create products from the discussion or directly in the Products grid.
Enter your products in the discussion
- Click Add on the Products page.
- Choose Add manually.
- Give what identifies each product: name, brand, EAN code, MPN… One product per line, with the information you have.
- Send: Marcus creates the products in your catalog.
You can also simply write to Marcus, for example “Add these three products” followed by their references.
Start from sample products
If you want to discover Upsellr before importing your catalog, choose No product to hand. Marcus looks for five sample products from your industry and adds them to the catalog. You can then enrich them, generate their pages or delete them.
Create a row in the grid
At the bottom of the Products grid, click New product. An empty row appears: fill in any cell, and the product is created. Then complete the other columns directly in the grid.
Good to know
- A message to Marcus is limited to 10,000 characters. For many products, import an Excel or CSV file instead: see import a spreadsheet.
- Give at least one identifier per product (EAN, SKU or MPN): this is what lets Upsellr recognize it during a later import.
- Creating products is free. Enrichment and generation consume credits.
