Launch an enrichment or a generation
The three starting points, the proposal card prepared by Marcus, the estimated cost and the Run button.
An enrichment or a generation is always launched in two stages: you make the request, then Marcus presents a proposal for you to validate. Nothing starts before you click Run.
Make the request
Three starting points lead to the same result:
- From the Products grid: tick products, then click Enrich and generate (⌘E) in the bar that appears, or open More actions and choose Enrich or Generate.
- From a product’s page: in the master data view, click Enrich. For a channel, choose Generate the product sheet in the Content selector, or Regenerate on an existing page.
- From the discussion: simply write to Marcus, for example “Collect the data for the Bosch brand’s products, then generate their pages for my store”.
The proposal card
Marcus replies with a “Here is the workflow prepared for your request.” card. It shows:
- the number of products processed;
- each step with its cost in credits per product;
- the total, under Estimated cost;
- the Additional language discount when the channel has several languages;
- the Maximum estimate note when documents are read: only the documents actually read are charged.
Collect the data of the 24 products selected in the grid, then generate their pages for My shop.
Here is the workflow prepared for your request.
24 products will be processed
2 stepsThree buttons:
- Run launches the work;
- Show the workflow opens the details of the steps to adjust their settings (see the enrichment settings);
- Cancel dismisses the proposal.
Tick Keep these settings for future runs to find your settings again next time.
Good to know
- Marcus never launches a run on his own. If he announces an enrichment and nothing moves, click Run.
- Exception: in the grid, right-clicking a channel cell then Generate launches the generation right away, without a card. The credits are consumed. Only the selected fields are generated, for the cell’s channel and language.
- If your balance does not cover the estimated cost, Run stays grayed out. See our plans or buy credits.
- Preparing a proposal costs nothing: only running it consumes credits.
- To follow the work, see follow a run.
