The guided demonstration
How the welcome conversation unfolds, what you do at each step, and how to leave it or resume it.
When your organization is created, a welcome conversation walks you through Upsellr on your own products, from adding them to the generated product page. The rail titled The demonstration tracks your progress across five steps.
The five steps
- Discovery: Marcus asks for your first name, your store’s address and your team. Clara analyzes your website.
- Adding products: you add 1 to 5 products, with a file or by typing them. If you have no product at hand, choose No product to hand: Marcus finds five examples from your industry.
- Enrichment: Lily collects your products’ data live.
- Product sheet template: you discover the page structure proposed for your industry.
- Generation: Max writes your products’ pages. You ask for adjustments, and a revised version follows.
Quick reply buttons move the conversation forward, such as It’s clear, let’s go on, I have a question or Start the writing. You can also write freely at any time.
At the end
Marcus asks how satisfied you are, then suggests what comes next: connect your store, import a file, add a channel or open a new conversation.
Leaving or resuming
- Skip demo opens the “Skip the demonstration?” confirmation. Confirm with Skip demo, or go back with Keep going. The demonstration then stops, along with the collections and writing in progress, and Marcus meets you in a new conversation.
- Clicking New task leaves the demonstration view without stopping it. Resume the demonstration, in the sidebar, takes you back to it.
Good to know
- Collections and writing launched during the demonstration consume no credits.
- On the Free plan, 100 credits are offered when you sign up. The demonstration does not touch them.
- A skipped or finished demonstration cannot be restarted from your account. If you would like to go through it again, contact us.
