The first steps

The Onboarding panel, at the bottom of the sidebar, lists three steps to get off to a good start. Each one earns you free credits, once.

Click a step to open a conversation where Marcus guides you step by step.

How the steps are completed

You have nothing to tick: Upsellr reads the state of your account.

• Connect my shop is done as soon as a connection to your store is active.
• Import a file is done as soon as a file has been imported into your catalog.
• Add a channel is done as soon as you have created a sales channel.

The credits are paid right away, and the message “+N credits added to your account” confirms it. The step then appears crossed out, marked Credited. The panel disappears once all three steps are credited.

Hiding the panel

Hover over the panel and click the cross, then confirm with Hide permanently. The panel no longer appears in your menu, on this device. The credits can still be earned: completing the step is enough to receive them.

Good to know

• Free credits are valid for 30 days after they are paid. Their expiry date is shown in the credit gauge of the message area.
• A file imported during the guided demonstration does not complete the Import a file step, and the demonstration’s sample channel does not complete Add a channel.
• Hiding the panel only affects you and this device: your colleagues still see it.
