Organization settings
Rename the organization, choose the catalog language, require two-factor authentication and switch between organizations.
An organization brings together your catalog, your channels and your members. Its settings are in the account menu, under Manage, then General.
Name and slug
- Name: the organization’s displayed name.
- Slug: its identifier, in lowercase letters, digits and hyphens. It must start and end with a letter or a digit.
The catalog language
The Catalog language is the language your products’ master data is written in: English, Français, Español or Deutsch. Changing it only affects content produced afterward: what already exists is not translated.
The languages of your product pages, on the other hand, are set channel by channel. See create a channel.
Require two-factor authentication
The Require MFA (2FA or Passkey) setting forces each member to protect their account with two-factor authentication or a passkey.
- First turn on two-factor authentication or a passkey on your own account. See secure your account.
- Turn on the setting. The sessions of unprotected members are closed right away, and the number of sessions revoked is shown.
Switch organization
If you belong to several organizations, open the account menu and click one of them under Organizations. The page reloads on that organization.
Good to know
- Only owners and admins can change these settings. A member sees them grayed out.
- If an organization requires two-factor authentication and your account does not have it, you cannot switch to it. Turn it on first.
- If switching fails, the message “Could not switch organization. Please try again.” appears: try again after a few seconds.
- To delete the organization, see leave or delete.
