Profile, interface language and Marcus's emails
Change your name, choose the app's language and decide whether Marcus can send you his tips by email.
Your profile brings together your name, your email address and your email preferences. The interface language is chosen from the account menu.
Change your name
- Open the account menu, at the bottom of the sidebar, then My Account and Profile.
- Change the Display name.
- Click Update.
Under Email addresses, your address is marked “Primary”. To change it, see secure your account.
Choose the interface language
In the account menu, open Languages and choose English, Français, Español or Deutsch. The app switches language right away, and the emails Upsellr sends you follow this choice.
If you make no choice, the app uses your browser’s language, and English if that language is not offered.
Marcus’s emails
The Tips from Marcus by email setting decides whether Marcus can write to you when you are not in the app, with suggestions for moving forward on your catalog. Turn it off to stop receiving them. The unsubscribe link in these emails turns off the same setting.
Good to know
- Emails related to your account always arrive, even with tips turned off: address verification, password reset, invitations, billing and security.
- The interface language does not change the language of your catalog. That is an organization setting, the Catalog language. See organization settings.
- There is no time zone setting: it is inferred from your browser.
- The language choice is remembered by your browser. On another computer, choose it again if needed.
